• Account data — name, email, date of birth (we require 18+), and password hash.
• Profile data — photos, bio, preferences, intent, location radius, verification selfie.
• Usage data — matches, messages, calls (metadata only), device, IP, and timestamps.
• Payment data — handled by our PCI-compliant payment processor; we do not store card numbers.

How we use your data

We use your data to operate the service, surface compatible matches, keep the community safe, prevent fraud, and improve Lumora. We never sell your personal information.

Live video chats

Video calls are encrypted in transit. We do not record or store the content of your calls. Limited metadata (start time, duration, participants) is kept for safety and reliability.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data at any time from Settings → Privacy, or by emailing privacy@lumora.dating. Members in the EU, UK, California, and other jurisdictions have additional rights including the right to object and the right to be forgotten.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, preferences, analytics, and security. You can manage cookies in your browser at any time.

Data retention

We retain your data while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards for legal, safety, and fraud-prevention purposes. You can delete your account at any time.

Third parties

We work with carefully selected processors (cloud hosting, payments, email, analytics, moderation) under strict data-protection agreements.

Children

Lumora is strictly 18+. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact safety@lumora.dating.
